Prairie: Darn girl....you look zonked!
Yeah...I am. *yawn* I got in last night around 12:30.I felt sorry for my friend though. My friend had been helping her mom all day and during the party she conked out on the couch!
Prairie:Oh no!
Yeah. Some of her relatives took pictures & videos of her while she was asleep.
Prairie*giggling* : Did she find out?
Yeah...this morning. Last night I was going to put an empty beer bottle next to her while she was sleeping & people were taking pictures.
Prairie:Oh Kathy! You didn't do that,did you?
No...of course not.Tempting though.
Prairie:Remind me never to fall asleep near you at a party.
VERY funny!
Prairie:Yep...that'd be me! :) Nite Kath.
Nite Prairie. Sweet dreams!
Prairie:Back atcha!

Hey Kyle, if you could help with the MWoO Character Questions thread, I'd appreciate it. When you have the time, so as not to interfere with your own compilation efforts.
Will be downstairs getting some sleep.
Count: That was a good show we saw.
Yep, and just before the lights went out again.
Count: Yes, but at least it gave us a chance to count up our collections.
Yes, and the Muppet Gallery will look great once we have all the S10 pics.
Well, good night and don't let the batty bats bite.

Red, you can do two more laps, I'm exhausted, I'm hungry and I want to take a shower
Red: You're a wimp!
Nah, I'm just not in shape like you! Trust me, give me a few days and I'll be able to keep up with you just fine. It's just been awhile since I've been jogging.
Red: Well, I'll let you off the hook, I mean you do have to go to work and all
And what are you doing today? Sitting around doing nothing?
Red: It just so happens that I'm working too, just later than you
Oh, ok. When do you start your summer class?
Red: Not until June
Nice. Ok, well I better go.

Sorry it has taken so long to get moved in but for some reason the moving van got lost with our stuff and it took longer than expected. Not to mention Bobo hasn’t been exactly helpful ya know.
Well we are settled in and I wanted to give you a tour. As you enter the room you will notice that our room is split right down the middle from one extreme to the other. My side is very bright and decorated with fairies, butterflies, and collectible figures. The walls are painted a light purple with butterflies flying about on the walls and one fairy painted in the corner holding a magic wand. Glitter extends down from her wand and I have installed fiber optics so it looks like it is spreading magic dust over my bed.
I have a satin comforter on my bed, which is against the wall giving it a day bed feel. And I have many pastel pillows along the wall of the bed. My dresser has many figures on top of my favorite characters from a certain show/movie that I need not name (smiles). I have a vanity with all my perfume, make up, and beauty supplies. My desk is typical of all desks, there is a computer, books, and writing supplies on it. There are pastel shag runs all along my side of the room giving it a very feminine and very comfortable feel to it.
Bobo decided to take a roll of masking tape and put a stripe down the center of the room to divide the two halves. In my opinion it looks tacky but you can’t argue with him. The tape starts at the entrance of the door and extends all the way up the wall and ceiling. Too bad for Bobo the bathroom is on my side of the room! Although I am going to let him share it, he has been given certain rules to follow while using it.
Bobo cuts in: Um.....the part about the toilet seat.....ummm would it be too much trouble to compromise on this one? Cause you see......ummmmm I can’t seem to remember to put it down all the time.
No Bobo............no exceptions........we have to keep it nice for our guests!
Anyway.....now on to Bobo’s side. The walls are painted navy blue with grey stripes. He has all kinds of plastic guns taped to the wall...for what reason I don’t know. He bed is a hammock that he tried hanging from the ceiling but for some reason decided to hang it from the wall and then one end to the ceiling. Still can’t figure this one out. He has no desk but instead an old military truck filled with something smelly. I don’t even want to know what is in there. He has a full size refrigerator instead of a dresser and his closet is filled with security guard uniforms except for one shirt that looks like he got in Hawaii. The carpet on his side is a dark gray but you wouldn’t know it from all the clothes and chip bags lying all over the floor. He still refuses to fully unpack.
Other than the few minor things, I still have to get the bathroom in order. I invite all of you to come by if you wish.

Prairie: *throwing pencil in the air in frustration* Kathy?
Yes,Prairie?
Prairie:Kath...I know how much you think "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" is funny. And so do I under normal circumstances. But I really need to cram for this test .It's part of my final grade.
Oh gosh! Prairie...I'm sorry! I'll watch the rest in the Common Room.
Prairie: Thank you. I'm not mad. It's just that...
I know...you're trying to concentrate & my laughter is pretty loud.

Chef: Yes?
I'm sorry I was a little harsh yesterday... I was kinda moody, I could have been nicer.
Chef: oh, thet's ook.

You're welcome.
Chef: Su hoo ves thet oorel feenel?
It was ok. I think I did a good job on it.
Chef: oh, guud. Bork bork bork!
To be honest, I'm more worried about my acting final now. It's a group project, see, and it's supposed to be eight minutes long, and we keep going way over. A lot of it is because half the group doesn't seem to want to focus, but a big part is that we've been focussing too much on costumes. I mean, we had a dress rehearsal today, and we still keep stopping and changing things... its really frustrating.
Chef: suoonds leeke-a it.
But I had a great visit with my family yesterday. I can't believe the twins are almost a year old already! And Will is just so grown up... he's more talkative than some adults I know, its crazy!
Chef: iff thet's crezy, vhet du yuoo cell zee durms?

Yeah, that shows's great. Watched the original version with Clive Anderson and the new version with Drew. My fave games were World's Worsts, Hats an extension of the previous, and Scenes from a Hat.
Scene: A reunion of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Greg: Hi, Pestilence couldn't make it today. I'm Nervousnessess.
Scene: Losing your contacts in a woman's bubble bath.
Josie Davis, sitting down in what would be her bath.
One of the guys comes over and says: Aw, I dropped my contacts.
The other two rush over and say I'll get it! I'll get it!
And from the version with Drew...
Scene: Inappropriate things to do with a loved one's ashes.
One of the guys puts the urn with the ashes down on the ground, and makes motions as if he's unzipping his pants to urinate into the ashes.
Drew, after crowd boos: What do you want? It was inappropriate.
And of course the pot shots at both hosts was always a highlight of the show. But there was one time they let me down.
Scene: Graffitti found on the Whose Line bathroom walls.
Ryan: I give myself 10,000 points.
I thought he'd be saying in an incredulous tone: For a good time, call 1-800-555-DREW?
That's all I got for now, hope that made you laugh Kath.

Hey, you laugh at it pretty loudly yourself there Miss Giggles.
Red: Yeah, I know.
Well, I'm off to work!
Red: Enjoy! You're done with that Tai Chi class now aren't you?

Yeah...the pot shots at the hosts are pretty funny Ed! :D I keep missing the UK version of "Whose Line" though.Every so often the UK version is on Comedy Central here. But it's either on at 2 & 2:30 in the afternoon & I miss it because I'm watching something else. Or 2AM & I'm asleep.
The Count
05-24-2005, 10:06 AM
Yeah, the thing is I used to watch it when it was one of Comedy Central's staples. Remember cause I had better sight then. And it's Josie Lawrence. The game that's gone somewhat downhill in my opinion is Sound Effects, at least when they get people from the audience. Why can't Drew get it through his head to let Ryan do the sound effects. Two examples of these that stand out in my mind are:
1 Recreating the sequence from the movie Titanic, and they say: Look, there's the band.
Nothing can be heard from the audience folks, prompting the guys to say: Yes, they're playing the Sound of Silence.
2 The infamous police storming with the bit about the duck and the elephant.
Of course, the bit from the classic UK version with Ryan doing the sound effects of a police storming are better.
As far as potshots at the host...
This was Greg Prouppes hallmark. Hello, I'm Clive Andersen and I have no neck. Hello, I'm Clive Andersen and I have no hair.
Then there's the confrontation between Clive, Sandy Toxavic and Paul Murtin. Clive lets slip at Sandy: Whenever you're ready shorty.
Sandy: Shorty? Shorty?!? Well all right Baldie!
Clive: Sorry.
Paul: Is that head or is your neck blowing up bubbles?
Clive: I'm afraid to announce the untimely passing of Paul Murtin at my hands.
Paul: At least I lasted longer than your neckties.
Good stuff, good stuff.

Then I heard about it on america tv and saw they were doing new ones. I said "YES!! One of my favorite shows it coming back!" I still watch everyone episode I can.

Yeah...but I have a laugh that could wake the dead up. I should have retreated to the Common Room to watch TV.
Prairie:Wish I could have watched it with you. The show's really funny! Is it on tonight?
No. They're showing "Hook" now & it won't be over til 11.Tomorrow is "Mrs. Doubtfire" which also won't be over til 11.

*Waking up from dead of sleep.
I'll atest to that Kath.
Got a lot of stuff done though. Got over whatever flu bug was bothering me. Got two Ghost Girls for the castle, you'll see what I'm planning once the summer comes and I can get a working blog online with maybe some artwork to compliment the descripts. Finished tinkering with that research paper for my seminar from last semester, my brother printed it, and now I just need to hand it in so the professor can change the grade and approve the creds. Sent my other cousin an update of the plans for the Muppet Gallery, taking a long while but it'll be worth it. Yep, twas a good day to get stuff done today.
Count: And don't forget, we got to count up a vonderful amount of thunderclaps from the storm outside.
That's fright my friend. Hope UD liked the storm outside as well. Mayhaps we might hear him playing away at the organ in Floor 3's Common Room some nights now that he's registered in Room #25.
Oh well, hope everyone has a restful night's sleep.

Chef:vhu dues vhet becoose-a she-a lufes yuoo?
My sister constantly criticizes absolutely everything I do because she loves me.
Chef: I'm cunffoosed. Bork bork bork!
<sigh>. I don't particularly understand it either. Take today for example. I get home from taking finals, you know what the first thing she says to me is? She says, "You know Lisa, that shirt is seven years old. I mean it's still in good shape, but it's too short on you now. Maybe it used to fit you, but it doesn't now. And your pants are too high. That's why you look funny. You need new shirts." Now I'm used to her criticizing my clothes, but this is just a little too much, you know?
Chef: Yuoo meun she-a dues thet ell zee teeme-a?
Well this is worse than her usual. Because these are brand new capris, I just got them last night. She could at least notice that I DO have new clothes. And would it kill her to say hello? <sigh> but what really bothers me is that she just said, "thats WHY you look funny". Like, she just assumed I knew I looked funny, she said it like I had asked her "why do I look funny" and its just... grrr.
Chef: Oh... I'm surry.
It's ok.
Chef: Hoo vere-a feenels?
They weren't that bad. German was easy, and so was gym. And I got a lot farther in English than I thought I would. Still didn't get to write a conclusion, but I got all the way to the paragraph before the conclusion. I think I'll get a good grade on it.
Chef: Oh thet's guud. Bork bork bork! (chef points to the piles of summer clothes on the floor) Su ere-a yuoo gueeng tu surt thruoogh ell thuse-a cluzees noo?

Ah, that feels good. Just had a plate of cooked spinach ravioli and okra. Might have a slimy taste to some, but like Fraggles I rully do enjoy eating okra.
Had some mint choc. chip ice cream afterwards too, the container's in the freezer if anyone wants some.
Not only that, but I handed in the research paper for my seminar from last term, the one I had to rework and perfect to get that final grade changed. Als I got left now are two more finals, one of which I'm almost ready for. Just gotta see one movie and one more reading about the potential independence/separation of Quebec and I'll be set for that test next week. Have to talk to the professor of the other class to see how we'll get that test done.
But it feels good to be finishing my fourth year at Law School. Especially since I've gotten all the requisit courses taken care of.
Count: That's vonderful news, my friend. And my test on demonology is next week also. Me thinks I'll pass, especially thanks to your help.

Also need to mentalize that I have to stick with my creature-creating project. The problem is I always tear it down after a few have been finished. Red: Sounds good! I might go down to the Rock for a bit this weekend
Oh that sounds fun! Say hi to everyone there for me.
Red: I will! I think we're having a big radish roast on Sunday, so that will be fun!
Cool! Well, I hope all our dorm friends have a nice, safe, relaxing Memorial Day weekend!

Chef: cungretooleshuns!
Why thank you. But now I have other stuff to do! Ohio will be here at about 11 tonight, and I have to have the bathroom clean, the room clean, my laundry done, plus a walk would be nice, and you know what?
Chef: vhet?
Let's just forget it all and hang out in the common room. See who's around. I'm sure glad to hear Kathy's dad got through those operations ok. I know my grandpa has had a lot of operations, and that's tough. There was at least one time my mom actually slept on a couch at the hospital over night.
Now then: to the common room! CHARGE!

Prairie:Oh Kath...that's great! I'm happy for you & your family.
Thanks Prairie. I slept much better last night than I did the night before knowing my dad was OK.
Prairie:You were pretty tired last night. I offered to get you something to eat or drink last night & you fell fast asleep before I could get an answer.
I did?Oh Prairie...I'm sorry!
Prairie:Relax,it's fine. You've been through a lot & you needed that sleep.
Yeah...thanks for understanding.
Prairie:What are friends for?
Just to let you know,I'd do the same for you if the situation were reversed.
Prairie:I know. You're like that; thinking of others before yourself. ;)

Walking into dorm.
Wow, Star Wars was awesome!
UD: Frightrfully awesome. I really loved the scary parts.
Lew: There weren't enough fish in it.
Why, did you think there was going to be alot of fish in it?
Lew: Well duh. Isn't it called Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Fish?
Mahna Mahna: Mahna Mahna.
No Lew it's Revenge of the Sith. Not Fish.
Lew: Oh! That explains alot.
UD: Well, I wonder how dinner's coming along.
Good question, let's go see how Penguin's doing.
UD, Mahna Mahna, and I walk into the kitchen.
What happened?!
Penguin is using a fire extinguisher on the oven which is charred.
Penguin: Quack, squack, squack! Squack, quack.
Anyone for Chinese take out?
UD: Good idea, while you pick it up, I'll go ask Eduardo how much it'll cost to fix this.
Ok. Anyone wanna come with me to pick up the food?
Penguin: Squack!
Great I'm stuck with the Arctic fire hazard.

Thanks for telling me Uncle Deadly. Will have to call them back tomorrow to get the oven fixed. Oh, and here's the number for the Chinese restaurant. Just tell 'em you're ordering from MC Dorms, we're pretty much a regular there. Then again, there's also Everybody Eats and Parmessana Pizzeria. The latter specializes in pizzas of all types for all customers, they might even have a pizza for all the guys in your room.
Hope this helps and sleep comfortably knowing there's a bad moon rising.

Yep, sure will D. Then again, it might thunder down here in PR also, given that we're nearing the start of Atlantic Hurricane Season 2005.
The workmen are repairing the oven right now, so please use the fridge and microwave for now.
Got to watch my morning shows today, thank goodness the sillyness with the Electric Energy Providers is finished.
Highlights include the team-up of Fire and Ice on The Batman, and the end of Season 4/Storyline 3 on Yugioh.
Might end up making some pizzas for the dormies later tonight, if the oven's fixed by then. Have a great holiday weekend everyone.

Well, the oven's fixed and cleaned, there's pizza with basic toppings cooled down by now on the counter in the common room. Got pepperoni, onions and peppers as toppings.
Looking forward to Monday though. It'll be Memorial Day, and that means one thing to me... BBQ Ribs!
At least, I hope we might have some. We could have a nice lunch in the outer patio area of the dormhouse.

OK, a few things to tend to.
1 Ryan (theprawncracker)... The lobby is the front area where new boarders come to check into the dormhouse and get set up as new boarders. The area I was talking about was the Common Room, the large open room at the center of each floor's hallway of rooms. Not to worry though, many people make that mistake around here and I just wanted to help you know where we're at in terms of dormhouse lingo and location.
2 Kathy, Garfield's Feline Fantasies was a good special. Happen to have the book in my collection and I was lucky enough to see it when it debuted in 1992 before my sight started failing. Basically, it's an hourlong test of the theory that someone will always come along whenever you're imagining you're in a perilous situation and rescue you. The first test takes place with the imaginary scenario of a daring in-flight emergency sort of like Airplane though not quite. It's just your basic airplane going down with no engines deal. The second test, which takes up much of the special, the better one, is the secret agent mission to recover the Banana of Power.
You should check it out if you get the chance.
Well, gonna go back to sleep in a while, too early to be out of one's tombs.

BTW: Let us know when the musicals start up, interested in seeing Moolan Rouge and it'd be a treat to see Rocky Horror for the first time with dormhouse buddies and my roomie here.

That's too bad. I had some good food at a picnic yesterday though. Today it's just nice to not have to work!
Red: Yeah, that's a good thing!
Looks like a nice day outside. Might go play some disc golf.

Uh, not sure if it's still sunny outside for disc golf. Thought I heard some rainstorm thunderclaps outside. But you can always go straight to the dorms' pool, since it's protected by its domed roof.
There'll probably be some burgers and ice cream later today. Watched the new Cartoon Network show, The Life and Times of Juniper Lee. There's a certain pitch to it reminiscent of the other show on Toon Disney, Witch. And I detect a slight hint of BTVS present as well in the main storyline.
Hey D, make sure the band doesn't get hit by that crazy coconut-throwing ape. But then again, that'll help us know if any EM member is truly from Hawaii, we just need take their temperature.

Hope everyone's havin' fun at the dorm poolhouse. Or getting some much needed tans. Though I think Prairie would only get a fuschia instead of a tan, guess Grover would know about those color schemes since he almost got a rugburn and a darkened nose from his trip to LA earlier this year.
Got the burgers cooking on the grill. Hmm, soup and stakes eh? Well, we could always try the ol' Soup on a Stick and merrily combine the two.
Potato salad from Kathy and good old cole slaw from us will go great with the burgers and steaks. Gonna see if the Adam's apple pie is ready, that'll make a nice dessert for all of us. And topped off with some vanilla ice cream or milkshakes if the people prefer. Either that or some of Kathy's flag cake.
See you guys at the cook out later tonight.

The burgers are ready, toppings in self-serving trays for everyone to choose, cole slaw and potato salad in two individual bowls next to that. There's cola, lemon-lime soda or iced tea to drink.
Shish-kabobs of chicken or pork are also conveniently skewered and awaiting their own consumption. Adam's apple pie and Flag Cake are tonight's desserts, along with vanilla ice cream for topping either of them.

Yeah, so here's something to think about. I while back I was riding in the car and I thought "huh, extraordinary, extra-ordinary, hmmmm." I bet that people used to say extra ordinary when some guy got it into his head to change it. I bet he said to himself "Bob"(I'm going to call him Bob) "Bob why spend 3 seconds saying extra ordinary when you only have to spend 1 second if you shorten it to something like extraordinary." Either that or some drunk guy slured the words in front of somebody. And that person thought to himself "hey that's a great idea." Cause even though they are spelled the same we pronounce them completely differently. :p

Served one to my roomie and I had the other, with a serving of both salads. Kath, the potato salad was rully good. Have you tried it with either radishes (pink potato salad) or with pieces of apple in it?
The Flag cake was good, my pet bat ate off the whipped cream, don't rully care for that stuff as a topping on my desserts. And the Adam's apple pie was hexcellent, just hope others got to try it.

Oy! What a day. I mean more than one day, too... I guess... I'm confusing myself.
Chef: Speet it oooot, gurl!
What I'm trying to say. Yesterday six flags called about my application and basically said "no". I couldn't sleep last night because I kept thinking about my fanfic. Then I had my first voice lesson today, and it was so much fun! I had no reason to be nervous at all. So I got back home, finished updating my fanfic, went out and bought a season pass for six flags. See I wanted to wait to buy one until I knew whether or not I would get a job, because employees get in free. And a season pass is 90 bucks. anyway. Now I have to be ready to go in about two hours to go to six flags for my neighbor's party, and to get the actual pass instead of the voucher I got. And that thing goes until nine tonight. So it's an unusally full day today.

Hey Kyle, hope you enjoy yourself down at Six Flags Over Texas. That brings back some good memories, one of the last family vacations with my dad before he died.
Heh, got a Bugs Bunny in tuxedo as director with carrot megaphone from the stores down there at the park. That was when I was searching for one of Fifi from Tiny Toons, didn't get it till an eBay find some years back.
Remembering back on it, we went twice I think. Oddly enough, I have better memories of some of the rides from other parks we've been too.
Oh well, have a great time this weekend.

Looks like it's going to pour here too Dee.But I'm going bowling in a couple of hours. So I won't get drenched by the rain.
As for 6 Flags, the last one I went to was in New Jersey after my senior trip in 1987.(Yikes...this was 18 years ago! ) Now I'm starting to feel older than dirt!

Last time I went to six flags was yesterday. Lots of fun, spent almost the entire time in the new water park we just got there, the whole time there I was in the wave pool... AWESOME waves... and then we stood in line for a roller coaster for about a half hour to spend the entire ride screaming and clutching one of my friends for dear life. And it was one of the more "tame" roller coasters too. Ah well. It was fun.

My "Bowzer" shirt! It has a big hole in it! :cry:It's my favorite shirt & now I can't wear it anymore.
Prairie*taking a couple of deep breaths before answering*:OK...you scared me! I thought you got hurt! And after you told me what was wrong,I WAS going to tell you that it's no big deal. But since you're a big fan of his, I guess it is upsetting, huh?
Well...yeah. Prairie, I didn't mean to scare you.
Prairie:It's OK...just don't do it again. Kath...you have a couple of autographed pictures of him, right? Plus pics that your mother took of you two together.
True.
Prairie:So it's not like you lost everything that he autographed. If you get to go to his next concert, see if you can get another shirt autographed.Sound all right?

Gonna be going to sleep soon. Still got about two months worth of notes to study for the test on Monday. Plus errands to get done.
At least the fanfic structure's coming along nicely in my mind. It's gonna seem video-gameish once I start posting/scribing it and I hope I can stick with one project long enough before tearing it done again.
Well, hope you guys have a great weekend. Oh yeah, WW Philadelphia's this weekend. Getting ready for ordering and trading FSL Kermit and Uncle Deadly figures to add to the collection.

Please, don't ask. Sorry buddy, but it's got me in a funk. I'll have to hope the rest of the class did badly enough to raise my grade to a bare "Pass" or take the course again next term. At least it won't hinder the cred total progress.
Would prefer to focus on other things. Will watch some TV in a while.
Might get some projects started tomorrow.
Count: Like which ones?
Well, might start on that fanfic I talked about, a good outlet for that castle we've mentioned every now and again.
Gonna do some eBay shopping also for some extra figures for the collection.
Gotta check the MC guides for anything from Season 2 that might be missing from the list.
And I'll talk to a few forum friends to see if they can help with the last items for the photo project.
Count: Sounds like a lot.
Yeah, but at least we have two solid months to get as much done as possible. Let's just hope for the best.

Mmm, corn on the cobbs are good, had some last night with baby carrots and a crab-paste salad. See, both me and my mom make this paste from time to time, she used crab meat last night. What you do is chop it into small pieces, dump it into a mixing canister (could be a clean juice jug), add mayo and some dried onions, and then mix the whole thing by continuously smashing everything together.
And we're all chillin' in our rooms fright now D, it's hot enough to... well you know the song from SS about "It's So Caliente".
And Kath, glad you liked the idea. There's a reference coming in the next chapter to reveal the master baddie that I'm afraid only you might get, since you're the only one of the few people present on the boards present who knows what the reference will be.
But enough crypt-ic clues, I'll be working on the fic a bit later today.
And good luck with yours Ryan, knew the EM would be there in the music room. But where was Lips? Hopefully, all our fics will flourish in the summer sun.

This is the listing as of late,a lot of members have/are no longer at MC & so some muppets may be available.Count should be able to clarify any questions you have.Posting at the dorms is easy, just go with the flow.To make it a little easier, you may want to read the dorm rules(located on page one) & copied here, and read some postings to better understand how the game is played(as posted by Fozzie Bear):
A mixture of Muppet College Roommates and College Dorms.
Basically, in prior games by these names we had devised a dorm and players were choosing who their roommates were, as well as their neighbors, and where they lived in relation to one another by rooms and location.
As memory serves correct, The Count had a better grasp of the game and mentally visualized where everything was in relations to each other in the dorm, so I turn all that over to him in this game.
I'm thinking it's a large building with multiple bedrooms, at least 2 living/tv rooms, a game room, community showers/toilets, kitchen, laundry room, across the street from the college with a jacuzzi on the side and parking in front (between it and the college). Okay, so I've always visualized it as Quitman Dorms from my college daze--er, days.
And, of course, there are SOME rules:
(Philo & Gunge helped here)
1. You cannot steal someone's room-mate. Muppet Babies do not count for this game (ie, I choose Fozzie Bear, of course; thus, nobody can choose Baby Fozzie as their roommate. Likewise, it would just be silly to have a baby in college anyways).
2. Respect other players, or you get booted from the dormitory!
3. Be sure you tell why you choose your roommate, and if it isn't a well-known Henson creation be sure to tell where the character is from.
4. You can only choose Henson related characters as part of the game (ie, TMS, JHH, MT, SS, BITBBH, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal...)
5. Have fun!
Later on,after you actually move in,gave a brief room description,so we at MC dorms know what your room looks like.:)

Thanks D. Already replied to That Announcer via PM.
A few corrections to that masterful copy of the register you posted above.
Liv has Elmo and Zoe as roomies.
Room #19's been taken by Vibs, with The Newsman and Lewis Kazagger as her roomies.
Ryan (ThePrawnCracker) also has Lew Zealand and a Penguin as bunkmates in Room #25.
Christy ended up with Gobo and Sprocket up in Room #36.
And Philo&Gunge has the two trash heap rats who make up his user name as well as Clifford up there in Room #58.
Other than that, me thinks those are the rules Kev posted at the beginning. There are subsequent posts I made on the first page of this thread with additional rules to keep in mind or to help the general flow of the life here at the dorms, along with a full write-up of what the dorms consist of.
Oh, and I knew you would know the song, that's why I mentioned it. Espcially since your last lyrics posting of the Coconut Counting Man.

*Hears ringing coming from upstairs. Hmm, wonder who's there this time of night.
*Goes upstairs and into lobby to find...
Ah, hello That Announcer. So, you've come to join us here at the dorms? And who are your roommates.
Oh, it's Marvin Suggs. And these two learned gentlemen carrying on a conversation behind you? Ah, the esteemed Dr. Phil van Neuter, known for his taxidermist skills. And Julius T. Strangepork, Link will be glad to know you're here sir.
Room #22? That's the one you want? OK, just follow me chaps.
*Takes key from hook next to marble 22 on lobby's back wall and leads all through double doors.
This first set of doors leads to the stairwell on our right, the second set leads into the hallway with all the rooms. Yours is on this very floor so we won't need to use the common room. See that big open room there in the center of the hallway? Well, that's the common room. The furnace in the back right corner has a dumbwaiter elevator we use to get from floor to floor. Now then, we just turn to our right... Your room should be... yes, last door down on our right, at the end of the corridor.
*Hands key to That Announcer. Room #22, at your disposal. Aaron or my bats should be here in a little while with your luggage, if you brought any. The boarders to your left are Uncle Deadly (MC) and Pepe the King Prawn. Kermit's in the room across from your own, along with Sam the Eagle and McFraggle, but he's a bit of a recluse here in the dorms.
Anyway, hope you enjoy your stay here in the dorms. Remember to post a descript of what your room looks like once it's ready, you can cater to your own tastes and those of your roommates.
Have a great time!
*Returns to the lobby to tidy up a bit.
Heh, Count will be happy, that's another room booked for his totals.
"Is he gone yet?"
What's that? *Hears voice from below desk bell, lifts it to find...
Good grief! It's a Muppaphone!
Hello, and welcome to the dorms.
Muppaphone: That bell was giving me such a headache.
So, came here with Marvin? Better not let him find you. Come on, you can crawl over here and get some rest.

Red: We hope you enjoy your stay
Hey Red, it's going to be another warm day and I bet lots of people are going to want to swim in the pools.
Red: That's what I figured, so I'm going to head down and have the pool open all afternoon if anyone wants to come and swim.
That sounds good. Well, have a good day everyone!

Boy, Red, you are so good at diving! I wish I could dive like that!

Everybody sleeps
Everybody sleeps
Every night we close our eyes
Until the morning creeps
Mountaineers on mountain tops
And divers in the deeps
They like to sleep
How do we know it's so
'Cause everybody, everybody sleeps
There are people who sleep lightly
There are people who sleep sound
There are folks who tuck themselves in bed
And some sleep on the ground
There are people who sleep nightly
There are people who sleep days
But it really doesn't matter
Don't you know, it's so
'Cause you can sleep in oh so many ways
Everybody sleeps
Everybody sleeps
Every night we close our eyes
Until the morning creeps
Mountaineers on mountain tops
And divers in the deeps
They like to sleep
How do we know it's so
'Cause everybody, everybody sleeps
Everybody sleeps

Got the Penguins problem solved and placed my order with OMGCNFO, got bathed and dressed, had a great dinner of boneless BBQ ribs with rice and potato salad, and now I'm ready to rest in peace after winning an auction for a CD for a friend of mine.

Well, I've been charged with Crazy Harry's fuses, and my sentence has something to do with sand, or sandwiches, or toast or... I'm not exactly sure. All I know is I'm no lawyer. And they went easy on Beau! something about charity. But he has to get evidence by tomorrow. Evidence of what, I'm not quite sure. I don't even know how this all started. I think it had something to do with me throwing a penguin. Anyway, I've been told to break out the pens and get writing. But I don't like pens, I like pencils better. Though I have been using pens more for this story. Still, I wouldn't want to break them. It's kind of hard to write with a broken pen.
<realizes Swedish Chef is fast asleep and not listening to any of this>
Lazy.
<sigh> When did writing fanfic get this complicated? Anyway. Beth finished her Sesame Street fanfic today, it's a real nice happy ending. And Count's is really good. Creepy good. And prawncracker's got a really good story. Cool seeing the muppets as teenagers. I mean we've seen them as adults for years, and we've seen some of them as babies, we've even seen Kermit age 12. So of course we need to see them as teenagers, you know? and he's doing a real good job of it too.
<realizes Swedish Chef is now snoring>
I'm hungry.
... where did I put that peanut butter...
Oh, um, goodnight, everybody! Uh, yeah, good night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite... see you in the morning... sleep good... sweet dreams, etc. <yawn.> Now about that peanut butter...

Boy did I have a fun day today. I went up to Wisconsin with my grandma a took a tour of some Frank L. Wright houses. That sure was interesting. Did you know that I am thinking of becoming an architect?
L:Huh? No.
Yep, either that or a bio-medical engineer. I like to build things and solve problems. My grandma bought me an 1000 piece puzzle that depicted one of Frank L. Wright's famous designs. I shows "a semi abstract interpretation of a cactus in bloom" or at least that's what the box says. I'd say it's almost completely abstract, but it still is beautiful. I'll have to build it some time this summer.

Gotta think, gotta think, gotta think!
UD: Ryan my feind, I mean friend, what is wrong?
I gotta think up some more story for my fan-fic.
UD: Well, let's concentrate on what must happen for the story to finish.
Well, Kermit has to get Piggy to dance with him at the big senior dance.
UD: That's a good start. Now where is the story right now?
Bunsen gave Kermit, Fozzie, and Gonzo detention, and then they had a party in the detention room with Pepe, Rizzo, and some other guys. Then they went home.
UD: Are there any more characters you want to introduce?
I'd kinda like for you, Sweetums, and Lew to be in it if that's at all possible.
UD: Hmm, maybe Sweetums could be the gym teacher, and Lew could be his assistant.
What about you?
UD: Oh, I don't think that would be such a good idea, I mean, I'm already in Eduardo's fabulous fan-fiction.
Ok, so you won't mind if your not in the story?
UD: Not at all my friend, after all it is your story.
Thanks UD, that helped alot.
(Isn't it great when you can brainstorm with an imaginary roommate?)

Well, naturally, Ryan, brainstorming is always easier when there's someone to bounce brainstorms off of, no matter how real or imaginary they are. I frequently discuss brainstorms with the voices inside my head.
voice inside my head: yeah, but she's been ignoring us lately...
Oh! Well excuse me if the chipmunks, robins, bluejays, and ants in the back yard are bouncier than you!
voice inside my head: Humph!
<sigh>. Like I was saying before I was so RUDELY interrupted...
Chef: Leesa, vhu vere-a yuoo joost telkeeng tu?
Oh, just one of the voices inside of my head.

Don't worry, the Muppet Listing and Muppets Product Guide are still in full swing.

I just love little kids.
I was hanging out with some of my cousins today. A four year old boy and twin one year old girls.
The boy has so much energy! I was exhausted, and he was still running! But he has such a mind. We were playing with these blocks, see. We were building a house. Well, he was building, while I watched and pretended to be helpful. And he sets up this dance floor, and then he takes some of the blocks- the round ones... er, cylindrical? you know- and he decides that they're people, and they're dancing on the dance floor. And some of them are tired from dancing, so they're sitting on couches near the dance floor. I was just so fascinated, because when I was little, I would ALWAYS pretend the cylindrical blocks were people. And here he did the same thing! Without being prompted at all! It was just... so... "oh my gosh this kid is so my cousin" you know?
And the girls are so alert now. It's just so amazing. I really wish they were staying here. But they're moving out to Colorado. They had to. For work, I guess. But these past few weeks of them being here have been so awesome.
<sigh> Meanwhile my grandpa is in the hospital. He fell a two days ago. Then yesterday when he woke up, he couldn't move. I guess he broke a vertebra. Or something. He'll be fine, though. Papa just keeps tempting fate. Here he is, 92 years old, and he wasn't supposed to live to the age of 30. I don't know how he does it, but I sure hope I got some of those genes.
Chef: ...Ooh, vhet? Deed yuoo sey sumetheeng?

UD: I'm right here, you don't have to yell!

Kermit just left gym class and Rizzo told him that Link was gonna ask out Piggy.

No...

Hi UD, it's not a horror film persay, it's a movie about the great comic book superhero, Batman. And though not a horror film, there will be some horror aspects when one of the new villains known as The Scarecrow appears in his role in the film.

Alright, alright, we'll bring 'em. Guys, we're going to dinner with Kathy, Prarie, Ed, The Count, and some other dormies!

And remember...I'm treating!So leave your wallets/purses home!

Count: Yes, if you need any help with the bills, you know where to find us.
Well, gotta place a call to Scooter and get the tickets arranged. That and catch up on all the posts here at the boards.

Not too bad, getting stuff set for next week's Vacation Bible School. I thought I'd be around here a little less, but things are actually coming along.
Red: That's good. I spent the day at the pool. Kathy and Prairie came down to the pool for awhile today.
Cool, sorry I missed them!
Red: yeah and then a whole bunch of people went out to Everybody Eats, but I stayed here.

Well, just finished checking everything and talking to Scooter. He says there'll be no problem at the movie theater, we just have to be there a little early. We should be leaving round 8:00 PM to get to the cinema half an hour later. That way, we don't have to worry about the lines and just go up to the front so we can pick up our tickets. The movie won't start till 9:10 PM, though those are the trailers. Once it does, I hexpect a rully good movie.
Good night all, we're tucking in into our beds here in Room #1.
Sleep tight and don't let the batty bats fright.

Hope he lets us know so we can talk to Scooter and get the tickets set up before we have to leave later tonight. Chef, why is life so life-ish?
Chef: vhet?
Why is life... oh, never mind. Bad question. See, you know how I mentioned that Papa fractured a couple vertebrae?
Chef: yeeh.
Well, see, they- the doctors- were going to inject some glue in him or something, and make him all better. And the plan was to do that today. BUT!
Chef: Boot. Um de hur de hur de hur.
But his blood isn't thick enough yet. So it's being post poned. Meanwhile my parents are in Memphis on their motorcycles. They get back late Saturday, and then they're having company the next day for father's day. So of course, it's up to my sisters and I to have the house clean.
Chef: Off cuoorse.
Yeah. And anyway, I need to do laundry. And practice singing.
Chef:La la la la La la la la leeeeeeeeeeeeeeea
Something like that. And I should get around to my fanfic, too. I'm really nervous about this chapter.
Chef: Vhy?
Because, it's like, THE chapter. You know?
Chef: Nu.
It's THE chapter. It's the chapter of all chapters. It's the big one. The turning point. The CLIMAX! That's the word I'm looking for. Climax. This chapter is the climax, and I absolutely can not screw it up. If I screw it up, it'll screw up the ENTIRE story. The whole thing is riding on THIS chapter. And this just so happens to be the one chapter that just refuses to create itself in my mind.
Chef: Creete-a itselff?
Yeah. Every other chapter has just sort of created itself in my mind. I just think, "Ok, this is what needs to happen," and it's there. I can see where they are, I can feel the couch or the cell or the sand, I can hear every word they say. But this chapter... so many times now, I've thought, "this is what needs to happen," and then nothing happens. I don't see anything, I don't feel anything, I don't hear anything.
Chef: oh, thet's nut guud. Bork bork bork!
Well, I'm working on it. I can see Kermit now. I can't see anyone else though. And I know he's talking, but I can't hear a word of it. But in a way, it's kind of good. Because I've mentioned that Kermit doesn't know what he's going to say, so since I don't know what he's going to say either, what I'm going to try to do is sort of put myself inside of him, and see what he's going to say that way.
Chef: I theenk yuoo're-a a leettle-a beeg tu feet inseede-a off a frug, dun't yuoo?
That's not what I... oh, never mind.

Hey guys, just a friendly reminder. We'll be leaving the dorms around 8 o'clock tonight, so we can arrive at the theater by 8:30 PM and have the hassle of the crowds minimized while waiting to get our tickets.
So, Beth and Red, Ryan and Kyle, Grover and Cookie and Herry, Mahna Mahna and Uncle Deadly, Lew Zealand and Penguin, get yourselves ready to leave by 8 o'clock or as soon afterwards as possible.
Will meet you guys at the lobby just before we leave.
Have a great afternoon everyone.

Bo Regard wakes to a freash day at teh Muppet Dorm. He gets out of bed and looks around the lovely room that he had never taken the time to appreciate before. There is a large Queen-sized bed to one side with a big dovey (sp?), and large pillows. A bunk is screwed to the wall at the other side of the room where Beauregard sleeps under a woolen blanket.
The window is slightly open and a breeze stirs the green curtains. The room is L shape, with the bed's situated in teh lower part of the L. A large chest of drawers is situated roughly at the corner of the L, and around the corner is a sitting room/kitchen/etc area with a small sofa, and an arm chair. Also a table with a scrabble board left out on it. The word "Whotever" is still hnging in the middle of it....Beauregard had been playign himself again....
The wlls are a gentle shade of brown, with cream on one wall. The celing has a lightly painted rainbow for Beauregard's pleasure. a door leads to the bathroom area, and has a large Muppet Show poster plastered on it.
Bo Regard gets up and dressed, and settles down with some course work open on hsi lap, and a good novel open on top of the course work.

Oh, the ending of my fanfic. It's all happily-ever-after-warm-and-fuzzy-let's-hold-hands-and-sing-kumbaya-ish. I think I'm warming up to my make-you-all-squishy-inside-closing-thoughts. Didn't like it at first, but now... it's kinda better than I first thought.
<clicks mouse>
There, it's officially posted now. Oh gosh, how depressing. It's over. I hope they like it.
<climbs into bed>
Goodnight, everybody!

Glad to put a smile on yer face Kyle.
Went back to the movies and we're just arriving for a good night's sleep now.
Count: Vhat a vonderful film, and vhat a vonderful character that Batman.
Yes, the bits with the bats were great.
And now to go to sleep, counting the bats and ghosties and whatever else pops into our heads.
That, and the errands for the morrow.
Well, hope everyone has a pleasant sleep.

Red: Hello?
Hey Red! Guess what?
Red: What?
I'm trapped in my office! It's POURING outside!
Red: Hmm, it's not really raining over here. I was just thinking of heading to the pools.
Well, keep an eye on the sky, it's really bad over here!
Red: Well, stay dry!
I will certainly try! You too!

Harvey Towers: Hey, Johnny, Sal! How have you guys been getting on here?
Johnny Fiamma: I’ve not seen you about too much round here Harvey Towers.
Harvey Towers: I know Johnny, I’ve never made it here as often as I would have liked. But I thought I would drop in especially to give the guys a bit of a surprise.
Sal: Surprise? Johnny Fiamma doesn’t like nasty surprises!
Harvey Towers: It’s not a nasty surprise! I’m going to throw them a party. Look guys, can you see up in that corner, just next to the “exclamation mark sign”?
Johnny Fiamma: Hey, that’s a number. A pretty fine one too and talking of fine numbers…
<Johnny takes a deep breath in anticipation of singing, but doesn’t quite get his chance>
Sal: Hey, Is that one of those “This post was brought to you by” numbers. You remember then from when you sung “Pick Up the Monkey” on Sesame Street?
Harvey Towers: Could you two please listen for just two seconds?
<There is an expectant silence>
Harvey Towers: Thank you. That number says 2983 – which means that in just a few posts time the boarders here will have reached the 3000 post total. And I thought it would be nice to have a bit of a party for them! Oh, they’re going to have so much fun.
Johnny Fiamma: That’s a nice idea Harvey Towers! Anything we can do to help?
Harvey Towers: Well there are some balloons that want blowing up while I sort this food out…
Johnny Fiamma: You think your up to that Sal?
Sal: I’m on it… Coming through blowing up balloons for Johnny Fiamma
<Despite his best efforts Sal seems to have some difficulty, but perseveres never the less>
Johnny Fiamma: That’s some nice blowing there Sal.
Harvey Towers: (aside) You can see why I don’t come back here too often!

Beau: Hi Bo.
Bo: Hi Beau.
Beau: Do you need a hand there, or what?
Bo: A hand, no, sure not. A foot maybe.
Beau: Wha-t?
Bo: Called sarcasm. Look into it.
Beau: Look into wha-t?
Bo: Can you get this rock off?
Beau:sure thing Mr Bo.
Bo: Thanks Beau
Much later...
Bo: That was a nice shower, and I am glad you took taht poster down.
Beau: You're we-lcome.
Bo: Look, I'm hearing rumers of a party. I've had a splended idea for what to happen to a certain cute member who likes making 21.3 posters...
Beau: You does?
Bo: I sure do. *whispers*
Beau: You'd real-ly do th-at?
Beao: *nods*
Beau: Oh, that is aw-esome. I'll go tell her.

Hey, Bo got out from under that rock. Hope he doesn't have too many back problems from that... ah well.
<collapses on couch>
<sigh>, long day at the hospital. Papa was a lot better than we thought he was going to be. But that bone surgeon dude almost gave poor Fafa a heart attack. I could just... RRRRRR! I can't stand it when doctors do stupid things!
Chef: vhet?
<sigh>. He comes out after the surgery and says, "Well, everythings fine. He's no longer under the general anasthetic"! Thing is, we have been told a zillion and a half times that Papa is NEVER supposed to have general anasthetic! Only local. Something with his heart, he is NEVER supposed to have general anasthetic. What no one told us is that the general anasthetic had already been cleared with Papa's heart doctor. So it was ok, but no one told us. And then, you know what the surgeon said? He said, "Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that no blood gets into his spinal cord, because that would cause paralysis!" It's like, HELLO! NO ONE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THAT BEFORE THE SURGERY! And "we'll keep our fingers crossed"?!?!? Oy.... Oh, and then, THEN, they get back to his room, and the nurse is all set to give him medicine with MORPHINE!!!!!!
Chef: Su? Vhet's su bed abuoot thet?
What's so bad about that? He's fatally allergic to morphine, that's what's so bad about that! But it all got worked out, the nurse caught the mistake, or something... <sigh>
Chef: Vell, is he-a ookey?
Yeah. He's going to be just fine. He starts physical therapy tomorrow. But I'm telling you, the sooner they get him out of that hospital, the better. <yawn> But in the meantime... I oughta work on sleep...

Well, I got almost everything done today. Still have to call my cousin to set up an accountant's meeting.
Count: Vhat do you need that for vhen you have a professional counter like myself?
Well, nothing personal buddy, but my cousin's a certified CPA. And I know you're still working on getting that title.
Count: Ah yes, vould be better to go vith her then.
Yeah, hoping she'll help clearing away all the receits I've piled up from my collection of Muppets and stuff.
Then I gotta call my other cousin to see if there's been any progress on calculating the proportions for the pictures for the project, and if he's started adding the frames or not.
Got a couple of other things on the burner for now as well... But I'll keep those quiet for now.
Hmmm, wonder if there'll actually be a party here when we hit the 3000 post total count. Als I know is the dorms are almost two-thirds filled up. Could use a few more people and Muppets here, but we're fine with who and what we got.
Count: Yes, and our count of friends just keeps growing!
That's right pal, now come on let's get some sleep.

Hey Count, I'll be back in a sec.
*Opens door and finds Lisa, Nyssa and Bo walking around in hallway.
Huh? You guys are here? Thought there'd be noone here, what with most folks getting ready to stand in line at the bookstores for the release of HP6. Then again, thought everybody would be locked tight in their rooms with the ICE units (air conditioning) turned on, since today's the summer solstice you know.
If you want, you can come to my room and we can talk about our figure collections or other things. Will probably finish getting the MOC display ready later this afternoon. Been transfering my 18 MOC items to the closet, and there'll be room for another six more in there. Luckily, I got room on the shelf above my computer for the remaining exclusives, carded or boxed or bagged.
Might do a bit of renumbering for the Muppet List, since it's stopped after no new characters to add. But I might be getting some episodes after another deal.
Also going through my Monster Roster working on who/what'll go at which numbered position for the castle. Not the fanfic mind you, just something else I'm working on now in the summer.
Might give the ol' fanfic a try later this evening. And of course, my other big project at the moment is a complete product guide for Palisades Muppets line of figures. Most of the stuff's been photographed or submitted by forum friends. Just need my cousin to help by adding the various details.
But hey, listen to me carrying on. Didn't mean to keep you guys from your... er, walk. I'm gonna grab a cookie and a glass of milk before heading back to the room.
LMK if you guys wanna talk bout this stuff or anything else.
*Heads on out.

Rully Nyssa? Hmm, I'm gonna see if I can get Book 4 later when per chance I should go out to do a few errands. Borrowed it from the Library for Handicapped People, but the voices weren't up to par. Gonna see if I can get the official version recorded by Jim Dell to go with the other three already in my bookshelves.
Oh hey Bo. Harv's throwing a party for the dorms? Hmm, then maybe we should go upstairs and visit him to get the details nailed down.

*Mumbling to self. Always like whenever there's something nailing down. Heh, sorry Nyssa, that just made me chuckle. Not that type of nailing.
But at least the party preparations are in place, for the dorms and your party. Got a few things done earlier tonight, will do some more tomorrow. Good to keep busy now during the summer break.
Well, good night's sleep to all.
Hmm, now which should be #14? Well...
