Aside from customized Muppet figures, has anyone ever made customized Muppet Plush?

I've been working on a Pepe plush. My first attempt was, umm, trash heap material, but I have plans to improve the next one.

If I get a Pepe plush that looks remotely like Pepe, I'll post pics. But don't hold your breath or anything. ;)

I'm actually adapting a monkey pattern for Pepe, I know that sounds absurd, but there are some similarities....

Have you seen that cool Oscar bean plush from the late 90's? I'd love to know how to make a plush like that.
