Hey Guys,
As some of you know the 'She Drives Me Crazy' (http://search.launch.yahoo.com/search/lsearch/video?p=she+drives+me+crazy) video is online from 'Kermit Unpigged'.

I really want to save this video, Normally when your not supposed to save Videos i find a way around it.

But thsi Streaming Video seems hard.

Can any one help me ?

You will find a shortcut to it, in the form of a Media File in your 'Temporary Internet Files'.

But you gotta search - LOL

And then it is still only a Shortcut.

I've saved this as a shortcut but it still has to have a connection. I'm looking to save it to my hard drive like all the archive Muppets moments on the old Henson.com.

Hey Warrick,

Sorry can't get it. The actual Muppet video file is video_175487.asf but they have hidden the directory the files stored in with ASP so i can't tell where it really is.

In the Properties of the Windows Media Stream, It says this...

That still doesn't give the REAL location of the file away - sheesh - if it were Realplayer it would have been easy.

i think mms://l5.dallas.broadcast.com/wm.broadcast.com/broot6/BusShare23/launch.com/12/2351856.asf
should work as well

what you need is a program to d/l with the MMS protocol
SDP, streambox, ASF recorder can do this, but sometimes only certain programs will work with certain ASF files...

I tried linking to that URL and right clicking and choosing 'Save Target as...' but it said,. Dowdload could not complete stream.

Any ideas ?

Watch both of the clips in full directly, and hopefully they should end up in your temp internet files so you can save em !

They only saved as Shortcuts, So id need to connect to watch them.
