I think Andrew the Reindeer had some kind of Scandanavian accent and he sang a song called, Reindeer on the Beach.
The Anteater that was a guest was actually an aardvark and her name was Arlene.
Rhonda looked a lot like one of the rats from the Muppet Show, and she had a blonde wig.
Rudy the Road Runner sounded a lot like Pepe.
Sean the Rabbit had an Irish accent.
As for what these characters look like, I'll have to get back to you on that. I have all the episodes taped and I can look through all of them and find out.

P.S. Eve was a huge cockroach that wears a chef's hat an apron and I always thought he was voiced by Steve Whitmire.
Also the roach made his first appearance on the Jim Henson Hour where he had a huge chef fight with the Swedish Chef. And he also made an appearance on Muppet Treasure Island.

You have all 65 episodes of JHAS?!? That's vonderful! Xerus, please either post here or contact me via E-mail through the forum so that we can talk about the character list from JHAS. Got a whole slew of characters I got from one of my sources, and would like to clear up a few doubts with you if that's OK. Would also love for you to contact me, cause then I can share the character list I got and get the list of guests/episodes I found on a PAZZ website.
Hope to hear from you soon, and have a great day.

It's also cool that you knew about Joe the Armadillo being on Animal Show first as a different character.
There was a wildebeest character in that show that sounded like Joel from MST3K. Of course I know it wasn't Joel, duh, but it was funny how he sounded like him.

Klonoa, after reading through the posts here...
1 The wildebeest character's name is Frankie, or "Frankie the Wildebeest".
2 Not sure where you inferred that Joe the Armadillo was already hinted at and recognized as an earlier character from JHAS.
3 Don't worry though, my source already provided a batch of character names/descripts, including Dooly the Armadillo and said what you're hinting at anyway.
4 Joe the Armadillo will be added in due time, once my Danish source contacts me with the KSY character list.
Xerus...
If you could, please contact me ASAP so we can go over the character list I got, along with the character/episode list I found online to finalize the JHAS characters and get everyone added to the Muppet Listings.
Hope to hear from you soon, and have a good day.

Hey there, The Count. :)
Sure, I can answer your Animal Show questions. If you'll give me some time, I'll just get my tapes and fast foward through them and I can give you the info on all the animal guests and what their names were. What questions do you have for me right now?

Just sent E-mail to Muppet_dk, hope he gets it this time. And since I can't E-mail Xerus, I'll just post my questions for him/her here.
Greetings from the Count! Hi Xerus, thanks for helping me out with the complete JHAS character list so that they can be added to the Muppet Listings.
Here's what I got from my trusted source so far.
Alexis the Giraffe.
Andrew the Reindeer.
Archilles the Shark.
Arlene the Aardvark.
Armstrong the Chickenhawk.
Awanna the Babboon.
Bernice the Wart Hog.
Billybob the Lemur.
Blanche the Manatee.
Bosko the Babboon.
Bubba the Walrus.
Bunnie Bear.
Chauncey the Turtle.
Chuck the Lion.

Gufrey the Vulture.
Harry the Rhinoceros.
Hector the Spider Monkey.
Hillary the Owl.
Jackie the Orangutan.
Jake the Polar Bear.
Jared the Tiger.
Jonny the Wolf.
Kasey the Kangaroo.
Lazlo the Hyena.
Leapovitch the Frog.
Lenny the Gorilla.
Lulu the Potto.
Malcolm the Lion.
Maxine the Elephant.
Mel the Lemur.
Milton the Blue-Footed Booby.
Morton the Beaver.
Namis the Frog.
Octavio the Octopus.
Ollie the White Anteater.
Penelope the Yellow-Footed Tortoise.
Phoenicia the Hippopotamus.
Plunk the Sea Otter.
Ralph the Moose.
Randall the Zebra.
Rhonda the Raccoon.
Rhonda the Rat Reporter.
Ringo the Elephant.
Rudy the Road Runner.

Sly the Alligator.
Stinky the Skunk.
Timothy the Owl.
Tizzy Bee.
Travis the African Buffalo.
Trudy the Chimp.
Vernon the Grizzly Bear.
Warren the Wart Hog.
Yves St. La Roach.
1 If you could, please confirm that these names are correct.
2 If you could, please say who performed each character and what season they belong to.
3 In the character/episode guide I found online, it mentioned "Crocodile" twice and there were no mentions of alligators. So are Frankie and Sly crocodiles or alligators?
4 The character of "Eve" as performed by Bill Baretta was a mention I found when searching for characters from this show on www.imdb.com. So, is there a character named Eve who isn't Yves St. La Roach? If so, please provide descripts of how these two characters differ from each other.
5 Also, please provide full descripts of the following characters, which I'm still missing.
Andrew the Reindeer.
Rhonda the Rat Reporter.
Rudy the Road Runner.
Sean the Rabbit.
Maybe this seems like a good first batch of questions for now. Please reply ASAP by either posting in the thread or via E-mail. Once we get these squared away, we can get started on the rest of the cast of characters. Hope to hear from you soon, and thanks for all your help!

Bunnie Bear. - Louise Gold (Season II)
Jake the Polar Bear. - Steve Whitmire (Seasons I, II & III)
Maxine the Elephant. - probably Catherine Smee (she certainly performed an Elephant guest in the same episode as Dave the Human Being in Season III)
Rhonda the Rat Reporter. - Louise Gold (Season III)
Stinky the Skunk. - Dave Goelz (Seasons I, II & III)
Tizzy Bee. - Karen Prell (Season I) , Louise Gold (Season II & III)
Yves St. La Roach. - Steve Whitmire (Definitely Season III, probably II, possibly I)
Two other Season III characters you didn't mention werre Clive The Kwiwi (Season III), and Dave the Human Being (Season III). The former may have been performed by Mike Quinn (not absolutley sure - would have to watch it again to check). The latter was probably voiced (though not puppeteered) by Dave Goelz.
Note,
Sometimes when trying to identify who is performing a character, there are all sorts of little clues. For example Is the character being puppeteered Right or Left handed? Its customery to puppeteer Right Handed, but Animal Show puppeteers do happen to be Left-handed (and puppeteer that way), so in Season I if any character is puppeteered Left-handed than Mike Quinn is probably performing it. In Seasons II & III, if its puppeteered left-handed then it is probably being performed by either Mike Quinn or Louise Gold.
Another odd point to mention, is voicing. Until Catherine Smee (who did some performering in Season III of The Animal Show) came along, Louise Gold was the only female puppeteer habitually doing English accents as a matter of course. However, both Catherine and Louise can do cockney accents (Catherine was the cockney-sounding elephant in Season III).
Hope that helps
Emma

Dave the Human was voiced and puppeteered by Bill Barretta.
The Count
07-08-2004, 05:36 PM
Yes, thank you Emma, it does help.
1 Reason why I didn't list "Clive the Kiwi Bird" nor "Dave the Human Being" is cause:
a. My trusted source didn't have them on hand in the list he provided me,
b. This is the first I hear about those characters.
2 If you could, please provide full descripts of what both your mentioned characters look like.
3 Another reason why I started asking these questions is cause I'm blind and I don't have any JHAS episodes in my collection. Any and all informative help with these characters will be appreciated.
4 Was Maxine the "Indian Elephant" featured on the same episode as Dave the Human Being? Or was that Ringo?
Well, hope to hear from all of you soon, and have a good day.

Hi again the Count. :)
To answer your first question, I am a guy.
And as for animal descriptions. Please give me a few days to look through all my videos and I'll e-mail you a list of all the guests and their descriptions. But I can answer some of the questions you posted right now though.
1 If you could, please confirm that these names are correct.
Yes, I think you got most of the names correct. Except that Ollie is a tapir, not an anteater. I also kind of wished that Ollie stuck around so she could be a guest on the show and talk about tapirs. And maybe do a song too. Oh well.
>2 If you could, please say who performed each character and what season they belong to.
I mostly recognize when Bill Baretta, Karen Prell, and Louis Gold are doing characters while Dave and Steve are busy doing Jake and Stinky most of the time. But the others I'm not sure of since I hardly heard them do other voices.
3 In the character/episode guide I found online, it mentioned "Crocodile" twice and there were no mentions of alligators. So are Frankie and Sly crocodiles or alligators?
They were both crocodiles. It really bothered me how they kept bringing back the same animals they already interviewed.
4 The character of "Eve" as performed by Bill Baretta was a mention I found when searching for characters from this show on www.imdb.com. So, is there a character named Eve who isn't Yves St. La Roach? If so, please provide descripts of how these two characters differ from each other.
The other time I've seen another cockroach chef was on the Jim Henson Hour and he was voiced by Steve. He and the Swedish Chef had a couple of chef fights on that series.
5 Also, please provide full descripts of the following characters, which I'm still missing.
Andrew the Reindeer.
Rhonda the Rat Reporter.
Rudy the Road Runner.
Sean the Rabbit.
Andrew, I can't remember yet. But I do remember he had a Scandinavian accent.
Rhonda was a Muppet Show rat who had long blonde hair
Rudy, I'll have to get back to you on that, but he had a Spanish accent though.
And I'll have to get back to you on Sean the Rabbit, but I remember he had an Irish accent.
And I think Ringo and Maxine were the same Muppet elephant they used. Only they called Maxine an Indian elephant.
And Dave was a Muppet human who wore glasses, and a checkered shirt. But I forgot his hair color though. I'll have to get back to you on that.
Clive the Kiwi was actually the Limburg Muppet from the Jim Henson Hour, only without clothes.
And I do believe Katherine Smee voiced Penelope the Tortoise for Louise Gold as Rhonda interviewed her that time.
That's all I can tell you for now.
Xerus
07-08-2004, 10:01 PM
P.S. Maxine the Indian Elephant and Dave the Human appeared on the same show and they did a song together.
Ringo the Elephant and Eugene the Hunting Dog were in another episode.
Also there was an episode where Sam the Eagle guest starred and he became shocked and appalled when he saw a film about eagles living in the wild. For he obviously was a civilized eagle.

Thank you very much Xerus, I'll await your E-mail with the complete character/descript list then.
1 Eve, I'll forget about this one since it seems like it's a mistake. The other cockroach chef is named Jacques the Roach from JHH, and is the same puppet/character as Yves St. La Roach.
2 If it helps, Andrew the Reindeer is on the same episode from Season 3 as Sasha the Siberian Tiger.
3 Sam the Eagle was included in the list I got from my trusted source, but he's already been listed anyway.
Thanks again, and I'll make a few changes based on your suggestions. That, and wait for your E-mail. Take your time, just so long as it's complete and you do your best.
Hope this helps and have a good night.

If Maxine The Indian Elephant was in the sketch with Dave The Human Being (who incidentally while performed by Bill Barretta, is supposed to be based-on Dave Goelz), then Maxine was performed and voiced by Katherine Smee.

Hi, The Count. :)
It's kind of hard to watch all 65 episodes of the Animal Show in just a few days. So if it's okay, I'd like to give you the character descriptions a few posts at a time. Here's what I found out about the first 5 episodes I reviewed.
Stinky the Skunk is a black and white skunk voiced by Dave Goelz.
Jake the Polar Bear is a white bear with black eyes, glasses, and a red bow tie voiced by Steve Whitmire.
Armstrong the Chicken Hawk is a brown and white chested hawk with a black beak and voiced by Bill Baretta.
Ollie the Tapir is a gray tapir with moveable hands and voiced by Karen Prell.
Tizzy the Bee is a black and yellow bee that’s a computer generated muppet and voiced by Karen Prell in the first season, then Louise Gold in the second.
Yves St. La Roach is a big brown roach with a white chef’s hat and apron and he's voiced by either Steve Whitmire or Bill Baretta. I'm not sure anymore.
Bunny Bear is a small brown bear with black eyes with a flowered necklace voiced by Louise Gold.
Rhonda the Rat is a brown Muppet Show rat with blonde hair and voiced by Louise Gold.
Dullard the Aardvark is a brown aardvark who started out as Arlene the Aardvark and I’m guessing Bill Baretta voiced him.
Chuck the Lion is a big light brown lion with a dark brown mane with a royal British accent. (puppeteer unknown).
Randal the Zebra is a black and white striped zebra with a voice that sounds like Bobo the Bear. Probably by Bill Baretta.
Sly the Crocodile was a long green croc who sounded like Sylvester Stallone. I'm guessing Bill Baretta.
Dooley the Armadillo was a golden bumpy armadillo who had a nervous voice like Squiggy. (puppeteer unkown.
Victor the Rattlesnake was a yellow snake with purple linings around his mouth. (puppeteer unknown.)
Rhonda the Raccoon was a gray and black raccoon voiced by Karen Prell.
Charolette the Penguin was a black and white penguin voiced by Karen Prell.
Clive the Kiwi was originally the Limburg Muppet from the Jim Henson Hour. And he was brown with a long beak and moveable hands. Which is odd because kiwi's don't have wings. (puppeteer unknown.)
That's all I can tell you for now. But I'll try to post up the next list of descriptions in a few days. If you have any questions, please e-mail me at culpit70@yahoo.com
Have a nice day. :)

But why don't I remember seeing this show? What channel was it on?

In 1994, it started out on FOX for the first two years. Then a year later, it started airing on the Animal Planet channel. But now it's gone. :( But I was lucky to tape them all before that happened. :)

Yes Bo, Jacques the Roach's there in the group o'pirates in MTI. If'n you don't believe me, watch the opening song and the song sung by Tim Curry very carefully. And if'n you still don't believe me, search out Gonzo's MTI Custom figure threads, there's one there of Jacques as a pirate from the film.

I'm glad to help you out The Count. :) Yes, it is easier to send them in batches, so I can watch the shows a few at a time and study them better so I can get the descriptions and voices down better.
Actually, I don't know how the Penguin's name is really spelled. I guess it could be either Charolette or Charlotte. They didn't give out her spelling on the show.

Hi Xerus, nice to hear from you again. There's no need to look for the E-mail I sent your way, the message's practically there in the post above already.
As for the penguin's name... I see, or rather, well you get the joke.
So then, my question would be: did they pronounce her name as "Charlotte" on the show, or did they pronounce it as "Charolette"? Just asking cause I thought there might've been a typo when you wrote the character's name and I want to double-check before adding her to the list.
Hope to hear back from you with JHAS Descripts 2 soon.
Oh, and have a great night.

Hi Count. Hope you had a nice vacation. :)
I just got another batch of Animal Show descriptions for you and here they are.
Casey the Kangaroo was a brown kangaroo with a black mouth. And she had an Aussie accent and was voiced by Karen Prell.
Leapovich the Frog was a green frog with big eyes and he had a Russian accent. (puppeteer unknown.)
Harry the Rhino was a golden rhino with bumps on his skin. (Puppeteer unknown)
Lenny the Gorilla was a brown furry gorilla with a black face and chest and a deep voice. (I'm guessing Bill Baretta.)
Frankie the Wildebeast was a gray wildebeast with dark gray markings on his face, a white beard and white fur on his back. (Puppeteer unknown.) I believe he was also featured in the classic Muppet Show sketch, I'm a Gnu.
Chauncey the Turtle was a green turtle with a brown shell and brow spots on his head. And he sounded like an old English man. (Puppeteer unknown.)
Plunk the Sea Otter was a brown otter with a black nose and he had a teenage English accent. (Puppeteer unknown.)
Guffrey the Vulture had a pink head with yellow eyes, black beak, white back, brown chest, and black wings. And he had a beatnik like voice, and I'm guessing he was done by Bill Baretta because he sounded like Zippity Zap from Muppet's Tonight.
And that's all for now. I hope this helps you.

By the way, here are some more....
Hillary the Owl was a gray owl with a yellow beak and was voiced by Karen Prell.
Octavio the Octopus was an orange octopus with yellow eyes and he was stuffed in a gray and brown rusted can and was carried in by Ollie. He had an Italian accent and I'm guessing he was voiced by Bill Baretta.
Jared the Tiger was a huge orange, white, and black tiger with a pleasant smile and he had an Indian accent. (Puppeteer unknown.)
Nippy the Tiger Beetle was a small green beetle with a yellow mouth and he was brought in on a leafy rock by Ollie. He had an Elvis like voice and sang a really cool song. (Puppeteer unknown.)
Alexis the Giraffe was a tall yellow giraffe with brown spots and sounded like Red Fraggle. Karen Prell.
Lamont the Sloth was a white furry sloth with bits of black, gray, and yellow in his fur and had a sleepy sounding voice. He sounded a lot like Armstrong. Probably Bill Baretta.
And that's all for now. Have a good evening Count. :)

Leapovitch and Harry were performed by Mike Quinn. Lenny the Gorilla from Season 1 of Animal Show was performed by Bill Baretta. Frankie the Wildebeest from Season 1 of Animal Show was performed by Mak Wilson. Chauncey and Plunk were performed by Mike Quinn. Gufrey was performed by Bill Baretta. Jared the Tiger was performed by Mak Wilson. Nippy was performed by Bill Baretta.
Thank you Deanmo for your info. It's hard to tell from Mak Wilson's and Mike Quinn's voices sometimes. Now I know. :) And I like how Mike Quinn got to sing neat songs on there like the Frog Song and the Turtle Song.

Hi Xerus, wanted to ask you something. Is Victor the Rattlesnake the character who appeared in an episode in Season 1 of the show, highlighting the rattlesnake and the skunk? Or is he the character featured in an episode from Season 3 of the show, highlighted by the lone appearance of the rattlesnake?
And along those same lines... were there two distinctly different rattlesnake characters on JHAS? What were their names and how do they differ from each other?
Thanks, and hope to hear from you before you leave on vacation.
BTW: Hope you have a good and safe vacation.

Hi Count. :)
Yes, they had 2 shows where a rattlesnake was a guest. The first one was about the rattlesnake and the skunk. The rattlesnake was named Victor and he had a guy's hissing voice and he was yellow with purple linings on his mouth.
The second had another rattlesnake who was the single guest. It was the same rattlesnake Muppet, only she was named Kiki and she had a cute Spanish like voice.
And now I'm off for my vacation. Talk to you soon. :)

Arlene the Aardvark was a light brown aardvark with an ejecting tongue. She later became Dullard the camera aardvark in season 3.
Chas the Chameleon was a green bumpy chameleon who also had an ejecting tongue and sounded a lot like Armstrong. Probably Bill Baretta.
Flora the Koala was a gray koala with an Australian accent. (Puppeteer unknown.)
Lydia the Ostrich was a gray ostrich with gray and white feathers and a squeaky voice by Karen Prell.
Fluke the Dolphin was a gray dolphin who was brought in a tank. And he had a British teenage voice by Mike Quinn.
Leah the Fruit Bat was a brown furry bat with a Southern accent by Karen Prell.
See you later for now. :)

Achilies the Shark was a gray shark who was brought in a tank. And he had either a British or Australian accent. (puppeteer unknown.)
Slick the Sea lion was a brown furry seal lion with light brown flippers and he had a surfer's accent. Maybe Bill Baretta.

Hey Count. It's good to be back. :)
Sorry, but I don't really know any of the correct name spellings. I just only heard their names. But they didn't give out their spellings.
But I can answer your last 2 questions though. Stinky was the guest skunk on the show and he even sang a song. And Jake was the guest polar bear and he got to sing a song too.
And Stinky co-guested with Victor the Rattlesnake, since Rattlesnakes and Skunks are both dangerous when threatened.
And Jake co-guested with Rhonda the Raccoon. But I don't really know what raccoons and polar bears have in common though. Perhaps they're animals that are always looking for food.

Hi Xerus, glad to hear from you again. Thanks for the info. Here's what I'm gonna do, as a compromise.
It'll stay as "Dooly" the Armadillo, cause that spelling makes most sense, as well as "Randall" the Zebra and "Archilles" the Shark, which I got from Muppet_dk; and I'll change it to "Casey" the Kangaroo from your descript posts.
Another question I have is... you submitted a descript for a character named "Cool the Kangaroo Rat". Is this the same character the episode guide lists as "Desert Rat" from Episode 23 from Season 1, as a co-guest with Gabby the Gila Monster?
Just want to know to correct that entry. Thanks, and hope to hear from you again. And I'm looking forward to the next batch of descripts.

Hi Xerus, did some updating and I got a few quick questions from the characters in episodes 22 and 23.
From the episode guide I got, it lists the guests for Episode 22 as "Brown Bear/Hedgehog".
Should Vernon be listed as "Vernon the Grizzly Bear" or as "Vernon the Brown Bear"?
Also, the same guide lists the characters from Episode 23 as "Gila Monster/Desert Rat".
Should Cool be listed as "Cool the Kangaroo Rat" or as "Cool the Desert Rat"?
Hope to hear back from you rully soon. And there are only four episodes left to finish off Season 1 of this show.
Have a great day.

Hi Count. :)
To answer your questions. Vernon was called a Grizzly Bear.
And Cool was both a Kangaroo Rat and a Desert Rat. Some people call it a desert rat because it lives in the desert while others call it a kangaroo rat because it hops like a kangaroo. At first Jake said they were gonna have a desert rat on the show, and when Cool appeared, Jake called him Cool the Kangaroo Rat.
Yes, I got 4 more first season episodes to watch and I'll give you the info on my next post. Then I got the 3rd and 4th seasons to check out where Bunny Bear replaces Ollie.

Vernon will be added as a Grizzly Bear, and Cool will go in as a Kangaroo Rat.
The funny thing is that I call the type of animal Cool is a jerboah, like Jerboah Jump from the old Tennessee Tuxedo cartoons.

I remember those neat Tennessee Tuxedo cartoons from my youth. :) And I remember Jerboah Jump too. Actually, the differnce between the two rats are kangaroo rats live in North America and jerboahs live in Africa and Asia.
Sorry, I guess there was only a third season. I keep thinking those last 26 episodes were seperate seasons for some reason. So there are just 3 seasons. The first having 26, the second 13 on Fox, then cancelled the third year, and the third season coming back the fourth year on Animal Planet with 26 new episodes. Sorry about the mistake. :o

Laslo the Hyena was a dark brown hyena with a black mouth and black spots and had a scratchy voice. (Puppeteer unknown.)
Inidra the Whale was a huge gray whale with a white belly and she had a deep British voice by Louise Gold and was in a huge see through tank.
Nemets the Ant was a tiny brown ant with a black bottom and had a drill seargant like voice by Bill Baretta. And he was so tiny, Stinky and Jake had to see him with a magnifying glass.
Natasha the Tarantula was brown and furry and had a Russian accent by Louise Gold. And was brought in by Bunny Bear.
Morley the Mole was a gray mole with a pink nose and I think he was voiced by a guest puppeteer named Andrew Spooner.

I'm guessing that Dave and Steve did these Muppets. Because Margaret sounds a lot like Bunsen Honeydew. And Wingo sounds a lot like Steve's deep sounding rock singer voice, but with a Romanian accent included.

Maxine the Indian Elephant was probably Ringo the Elephant. Modified by giving the Muppet shorter ears so it'll look like an Indian elephant. And had a deep Brithish voice by Katherine Smee.
Dave the Human Being had brown hair, glasses, and a green checkered shirt voiced by Bill Barretta. They say he was modeled after Dave Goelz and they showed films about Dave's home and his family.
Sam the Eagle was none other than that light blue eagle with black eyebrows who is obsessed with culture. And he was voiced by Frank Oz. I'm glad Frank took some time from his schedule to perform Sam in this cool show. He even sang a song too. :)

And the owl that chased Stanley was the same Muppet they used for Hillary and Timothy. But I believe this was another owl, since this owl didn't have a European accent like Timothy had.

Thanks once again pal. Will go with Alana, since that seems to make the most sense to me regarding the spelling, and due to your access to how the name was pronounced from the episode itself.
Virginia the Fox eh? Hmm, must be the one from the episode guest starring "Coyote/Fox".
Well, guess I'll just leave these accessory characters who chased after Stanley out of the listings for now. Hope to hear from you soon, and have a good night.

Here you go Count. My final Animal Show descriptions. :)
Max the Wasp was Winnie reused. Only he sounded like Armstrong. (Bill Barretta.)
Morris the Ant was Nemets reused. Only he had a deep cultural sounding voice. (John Eccleston.)
Bart the Coyote had tan fur with a white stomach and had a wild west accent. I'm guessing Bill Barretta.
Virginia the Red Fox was a red/brown fox with a white mouth and stomach and had a British accent by Louise Gold. And the fox Muppet was reused for the Stanley the Mouse episode.
Gallahad the Grasshopper Mouse was a gold/brown mouse with a white stomach and had a tough Humphrey Bogart like voice by Bill Barretta.
Stella the Stoat was a yellow stoat with a white stomach and had a hissing British sounding voice and liked to hiss vicously a lot. I'm guessing Katherine Smee.
Larry the Fish was a gray angler fish with a glowing antenna, big lips filled with teeth. (Puppeteer unknown.) And he was in the same huge tank the two whale guests were in.
Pearl the Pika was a small light brown pika with a dark brown back, a white stomach and had a squeaky Southern accented voice. I think Katherine Smee did her.
Charlie the Chamois was a brown and white chamois with a surfer's voice. I'm thinking Bill Barretta.
And I believe that's all the animals I described on the show. I hope this helps you out a lot. :)
Sincerely,
Xerus

Thumbs Up!!!
Thank you Xerus, you've been most helpful. Will finish cleaning up this batch and will send them to my source so he can have them in his website also. BTW: A stoat is basically an ermine in its summer clothes, or a summertime weasel with a black tipped tail.

Your welcome Count. I was happy to help you out. :) To answer your question. A stoat is a cousin to the weasel. And when either of these animals turn white in the winter, they're given the name ermine. And only stoats have black tipped tales, but weasels don't.
It was nice sharing descriptions with you. :)

Yes, every character from JHAS has been dutifully described by Xerus. And you've helped out too Deanmo with the names of some of the performers. Have a great weekend, what's left of it anyway, and see you guys on the boards.

Hi Xerus, wanted to let you know that ML 13.0's been posted and I gave you a credit as a trusty source there. However, MuppetDude, another one of my sources brought up the fact that there are some JHAS characters from Rhonda Rat's interviews missing. He mentioned the following specifically: The Badger, Lawrence the Orangutan, and Pavlov the Pug. Was wondering if you could go back to the Season 3 episodes and find all the characters interviewed by Rhonda Rat, and post descripts of them here like the others you posted.
Would appreciate the help in rounding out the JHAS cast, and hope to hear from you soon.
Have a good night.

Hi Count. :)
I'm sorry I didn't give you the Rhonda the Rat report animals. They were just basically the same animal guests only with different voices. But when I get time, I'll go back and give you the list. It might be a while though.
And thank you for giving me credit too. :)

Thanks Xerus. Question time again. Since I added "The Badger" to the listings, was wondering if you could help with the following. Based on your list, there are seven unknown non-named characters to add. Here's what I got.
1 Red Fish.
2 Yellow Fish.
3 Rainbow-Colored Snake.
4 Black and white cat.
5 Brown, black and white anteater.
6 Pink pig.
7 Yellow shaggy dog.
How do you think it would be best to add these characters? Hope to hear from you soon, and have a good weekend.

I'm sorry. But I have no idea what the names of these animals were. They didn't give them on the show. I guess you can just call some of them unnamed interview characters and the pig an ending appearance character. That's all I can tell you.

Hi All,
Just to clarify who did Yves St. La Roach. In season one it was me, Mak Wilson and I believe John took it over after I left the show to work on Lost in Space.

Hello Mak.
Thank you for clearing that up for me. :) Wow, you're the one who did Yves? That's so cool! When I first saw Yves, I wondered if you were doing his voice from the beginning. And I also remember you as Farkas Fafner from Ghost of Fafner Hall.
Welcome to the Muppet Central Forum and I hope you find this place fun and enjoyable. :)

Hey Count.
I forgot to mention that there were two other characters on the Animal Show as well.
There was Stinky's Aunt Sniffy who was a black and white skunk covered with white bandages for she just finished a painful stunt. (puppeteer unknown.)
And Yves's girfriend Yvette who was a brown roach with red hair and wore a white and blue pearl necklace, and a rainbow colored scarf. And she had a French accent voiced by Louise Gold.
Sorry I didn't metion these characters earlier.

There seems to have been a bit of Thread-revival going on recently, so I thought I'd revive this thread.
I was just wondering, does anyone know who puppeteered Stinky's Aunt Sniffy, and which episode(s) she appeared in?
