Role Play: Muppets on the Move

[Beth C]

With the upcoming move to the Disney Studios, I've decided to create this role play with the Muppets traveling caravan style from Hollywood to Orlando.

Rules:

You can be any Muppet character, but only the 'sold' ones (the ones Disney is actually taking control over) are going to stay in Orlando. If you are a Sesame Street character, you can be traveling with a friend or pal to see that they make it safe or to provide friendship during the trip. You can only play 1 character.

You have to stay in the caravan. The caravan will start with 2 big buses (Greyhound style with a bathroom in the back) 2 smaller vans and 3 cars. There will be no flying or taking trains to Orlando!

You can choose to drive one of the vehicles if you wish. Just let us know which one you are driving, please!

Communication between the vehicles will be by CB Radio, or walkie talkies.

Long car trips can be boring, fun, or an adventure. Let's see what our Muppet friends make of this trip, shall we?

Please when you first join the game, specify which vehicle you are in!

According to this we have a few hours before we could stop for lunch.

*looks around the bus*

Kermie didn't get on this bus. I wonder which one he is on.

Nah, I'll wait to bother him. It's going to be a long trip.

I hope I can hitch a ride in Fozzie's Studebaker. Sheesh. I can't believe I missed the bus again.

*paces up and down the aisle of the bus*

This isn't going to work. I need to find out of Kermie made one of the other buses or not.

*Picks up CB and presses the button*

Swine to other transports on the line. You got your ears on?

*Screeches tires to a halt*

Wha-haaa!? Hiya, Kermit! HOP on in and let's get this show on the road! Um, where're we goin' again?

**Rizzo gets on the CB**

STOP THE CARAVAN!!!

[Beth C]

*Tires screech to a halt and Piggy is thrown forward into the windshield*

*THUMP*

*All vehicles come to a stop*

OWWWW! *Piggy picks up mike*

Rizzo you better have a good reason for that!

* Rizzo runs from the van in which he was riding into the bus in front of him.

**He passes all the wondering Muppet eyes wordlessly and disappears in the bathroom inthe back of the bus.

*Screeches tires to a halt*

Wha-haaa!? Hiya, Kermit! HOP on in and let's get this show on the road! Um, where're we goin' again?

Thanks, Fozzie. I think we're going to Orlando. Something to do with the Disney contract. I hope we can meet up with the rest of the gang on time.

[Beth C]

*Watches Rizzo pass her and run into the bathroom*

Oh brother!

Well as long as the caravan is stopped, I should check for Kermie.

*Leaves first bus to go inspect the rest of the caravan*

*Notices that the bus is still not moving and that all Muppets are still staring in his direction.

*Slips around to side of house, forgetting that there is a bathroom upstairs.*

Garfield sits on the side of the Highway from jumping from Jon's car going to the vet.

Ah a bus. Wonder whats on there? Hope theres no stupid dogs. *goes up to the bus* Hey?! Could someone give me a lift. I was wondering if anyone has any lasagna?

I, Dr. Teeth am driving the other bus, where we will have a jammin' time on our way to Orlando.

Can you picture that?

*Finishes searching all the vehicles*

Kermie isn't here! I wonder what happened to him.

*Watches all the Muppets staring at her*

Alright already, we'll get going again.

*Goes back into the front bus and takes her seat*

What are you staring at? Start driving again!

*The caravan moves off once again*

Anyone objecting to the unscheduled stop can get off right now and ride with Fozzie.

If we can't find shelter soon, we can at least pull over until this -
