This is the site for the puppets I've been working on, and the projects we'll be doing with them. There isn't much up on it yet, but there is a picture of some of the cast of our first project, "It's Late Enough, with Plink!". Please check it out and let me know what you think! I just rhymed, oh man.... :concern:

That's awesome! It makes me wish my puppeteering friend hadn't had to move to Pennsylvania  :sympathy: We could have had some fun...

But it brings back great memories! I can't wait to see the show. Do you have a deadline?

We're hoping for a mid-April date to film the episodes. the Josh and Todd film is in progress, we'll have a preview up soon.

Just a-wondering when-abouts that preview might be up... not that I'm anxious for it or anything... much...

Plink is sweet! I love how simple yet awesome he is. BTW, sweet Californiacation poster! ;)

Scary- Hopefully the trailer for the "Josh and Todd" short film will be up by the end of April ;) . The show will start filming in may, we're behind schedule!

Ryan- Plink is one of the characters I perform, very glad you like him! Good eye on the Chili Peppers poster, they're my favorite band! :halo:

And to all- thanks for the intrest it means a ton to me that my Muppety brothers and sisters are behind this!

Heh, about Plink, is he felt? Also, how did you do his hands? Oh, and one word of creative criticism: I've always believed making your own eyes makes the puppet much more original. Some of yours have store bought eyes, which is okay, but they look more disctinct..with..say, ping pong ball eyes, or spoons. Still very cool

Plink is felt and foam. His hands are a very long story. I really would rather not get into it because it wasn't fun. maybe when I have more time...
I agree with the eyes, but Plink's camr out great. Johnnie's eyes are craft eyes (store bought) because he was never intended for anything, but then took on a life of his own. A good chunk of the puppets have homemade eyes, ping pong, nerf balls, stuff like that.
Thanks!
Jon

No movies on the site yet, but check out the new galleries! Also if you go to the About Us page and click on our names next to our bios you're in for a treat.
The "Josh and Todd" trailer should be up by this time next week (or I'm going to hurt myself!) and clips from the first episode of our show will follow soon after!

Let me know what you all think!

Well, I know my interest is piqued! Nice to see someone else attempting a web series (poor fool - now you won't have a life either!!). How often do you plan to do episodes?

Jivepuppet

Hey Buck
We plan to do 25 episodes and have them up as soon as we can. We'll be airing them here in CT bi-weekly on a local channel (if they approve it  ) so it will air for a year. Also we'll be releasing It's Late Enough on DVD, as a set when it's finished. But once the first few episodes are done we'll release the on DVD too just to get some out there. No life? No kidding! :p

Connecticut?! Holy crow! I'm from Waterbury! :excited:

Way too cool! Let me know how I can throw some money your way for a DVD when they're complete. Gotta support people from my home state! ;)

Well, don't hurt yourself, but I still can't wait to see your production!

No trailer up yet.... Sigh, no one hurt.
My webmaster went to Florida! As did three of my puppeteers! Ahhhh!
But they'll be back! We're still plugging away in the meantime, and hope to have a huge overhaul then.

As soon as we have them on disc to sell I'll let ya know!

I did download the two clips but I had to download a codec for the audio to work. maybe I'll do that sometime later.

I cannot view the clips, I keep getting this message: "Cannot open the file. Verify that the path and filename are correct and try again." Any chance these will be available in QuickTime format? I have a Mac, and I do have Windoze Media Player installed but it just does not work well. I find QT much superior to WMP. I was surprised to see the clips in WMV format, since I know I read on your site you were editing on a Mac.

We're working on the Quick time, it's coming hopefully right after Christmas. We're editing on the Mac, but the site is done somewhere else, and it's kinda new to us! Glitches and delays! As the Demon puppet says in one of the clips "It's a work in progress".

Excellent, thanks for the info, I can't wait to see the footage. :)

I can't see the clips either, Windows SP2 will actually block the videos and won't let them run. Quicktime would be much, much better.

My advice:

1. Don't embed the video on the page - link to the .wmv file
2. If you have to embed the videos in an HTML page, don't embed multiple videos on the same page.

I hope I can see these eventually.
