Very cool - VMC broadcast with no adverts in widescreen, AND I can eat christmas dinner watching Muppets From Space. Now THAT's gonna please my family !

Like wise ;) . I don't like the film much but "MFS" has been getting a lot great reviews :D

I really hope It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas is in widescreen - It would be useful. Then UK fans can get R1 DVD print for the extras

I just found that :

The Adventures Of Elmo In Grouchland
Time - 07:30 to 08:50 (1 hour and 20 minutes long).

Will be on, also show in widscreen :p

Later :zany:

Uh, the UK DVD release is widescreen. I wouldn't touch the R1 version with a 30-foot pole.

I was wondering what channel is TG4 or whatever cos I've never heard of it? Also is it available on NTL cos most channels which run through digital seem to all feature on Sky.

Republic of Ireland. And no, you can't get it in the UK :-( The channel does appear on the satellite feed, but it's not available for subscription.

That wouldn't help. *I* can pick it up, but as it's encrypted I can't do anything with it...

This translates (roughly) as "Christmas Eve with the Muppets". Presumably MFC.

Either way, I still want to see them. Imagine if it was A Muppet Family Christmas and it was uncut!

No chance! The completely uncut version hasn't been seen since 1987.

Did MFC got shown in the UK (Uncut version I mean) ? I do remember in the late 80's on BBC 1 showing "The Christmas Toy" - Sunday afternoon comes to my mind

i love the muppets is the best muppet documentary i've ever seen! very well put together it goes through short biogs of kermit, piggy, fozzie, s&w, gonzo and mentions most of the others but the best part is when they discuss the electric mayhem and floyd is interviewed!there is a great animal section where he is compared to keith moon of the who (as talked about in the animal vh1 ad thread. :boo: it was superb! how i wish they would repeat all 120 shows!! its alright for the americans. you can get most of them on dvd. over here not so

:halo: yalking of animal, theres another advert on in england at the moment. the va va voom advert (cant remember which car!) just know it features thierry henry (the arsenal/french international footballer) and a smoky jazz club with animal on the drums. its very funny (just a shame theres an arsenal player on it! would be better if it was a chelsea player instead!) ;)
