I was wondering if somebody who has the original tv version of this could list some of the commercials during the special? Also, I was browsing through some different threads and noticed that people had said Muppet Family Christmas was slowly cut through the following years it was shown. Is this correct?

Yes, it is way cut up in the commercially available versions. sigh. the original commercials i remmember are for osh kosh bgosh (kids clothes) and my first sony (kids tape player) there was also an ad for some special about bill cosby

Coming up on KSTP-5 news (Mpls/St.Paul), Gary Hart is back on the campaign trail and a Minnesota North Stars hockey player is arrested for indecent exposure.
